Part of Meera's Woven Landscapes series, where each piece translates a specific season and place into woven form. This panel captures the arrival of the monsoon in Pondicherry — layers of grey-green and deep blue dissolving into each other.
The warp is dyed with indigo in graduated intensities; the weft alternates between myrobalan yellow and iron grey. Woven on a four-shaft floor loom over two weeks.
